Eggless Chocolate Vanilla Rosette Cake!

How about surprising your loved ones with a delicious and freshly baked cake at home. This eggless chocolate cake with rosette vanilla whipped cream frosting is just perfect for a birthday party or a marriage anniversary.


Ingredients 
All purpose flour - 1 1/2 cups
Coco powder - 1/2 cup
Buttermilk - 1 cup
Sugar - 1cup
Baking powder - 1 tsp
Baking soda - 1/2 tsp
Butter - 1/4th cup
Vanilla essence - 1 tsp
Milk - 1/4th cup

Chocolate Ganache 
Fresh cream - 1 cup
Dark chocolate - 2 cups (chopped)

Vanilla Whipped Cream
Whipping cream- 2 cups
Vanilla essence  - 1 tsp

Procedure 
Chocolate Base
1 In a large size mixing bowl take butter and sugar. Beat it for 2-3 minutes with an electric beater.
2 Now add buttermilk, baking powder, baking soda and vanilla essence. Beat until the sugar is completely dissolved.
3 Add the sieved all purpose flour, coco powder and milk. Mix well with the help of spatula.
4 Pre-heat the oven at 170℃ for 10 minutes and line 1kg cake tin with parchment paper.
5 Pour the batter into the cake tin and bake for 30-35 minutes at 170℃, until the toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean.

Chocolate Ganache 
1 On medium flame heat fresh cream and turn off the flame once bubbles start to appear.
2 Pour chopped dark chocolate and let it set aside for 5 minutes. 
3 Now stir until the chocolate is completely melted.
4 Cover the ganache and refrigerate it for 20-25 minutes before assembling the cake.

Vanilla Whipped Cream 
1 Take whipping cream in a large mixing bowl and beat until stiff peaks are formed.
2 Add 2 tsp vanilla essence and beat it for another 30 seconds.

Assembly 
1 Cut the cake into two layers. Place the first layer on a cake board or a plate.Top it with chocolate ganache and keep the second layer on it. 
2 Now crumb coat the cake with vanilla whipped cream and chill it in refrigerator for 30 minutes.
3 Fill the piping bag with vanilla whipped cream and with the help of star nozzle make rosettes all over the cake starting from bottom of the cake to the top.
4 Add red roses on the top to make the cake look elegant.
